The investigations into reflex
analysis of the cranium were based on the work of Dr. H. Gilet and Dr.
M. B. DeJarnette. In Dr. Gillet’s “Belgian Research Notes” of the early
60s, he revealed that atlas fixations commonly occur as secondary
fixations to sacroiliac subluxations. Dr. DeJarnette discussed an
association of sacral
fixations with cranial faults and called them faults in the
cranial-sacral respiratory mechanism. This article describes a
relatively simple approach to cranial analysis, which requires no
cranial motion palpation, muscle testing or other vague signs, such as
the cough test. It might be necessary to sharpen your cervical motion
palpation, however sacral reflexes can also be used which is presented.
