This paper was written at the request of the ACA Council on Technique so the
profession as a whole may develop a better understanding of the biomechanics
of the pelvis as viewed by various specialties in chiropractic. The purpose
of this treatise is to provide an understanding of the pelvis as viewed by
Sacro Occipital Technique. Although most of the material is from the work of
the founder and developer of Sacro Occipital Technique, Dr. Major Bertrand
DeJarnette, may observations are based on the clinical experience of the
writer.
